the suit - she is driven. and focused. and she loves to "talk business". she knows a million people. she is out and about in her manolo blahniks much of the time. if you look around you'll see the tall blonde at many of the metroplex charity events. she is only allowed to date by committee. we recently met for a "committee" meeting in her honor.

the tennis pro... she just pops in every once in awhile... she has her own group of coffee girls... but we're much cooler! and we totally think she rocks. so it works out...

OH BOY... we have some men, too.
the builder... he likes to keep it on the downlow that he's as great as he is... but we all know... and love him for it.

the sign guy... we saw the signs when we met him... he was going to fit in just fine. when he's nt off traveling to some ubercool place, he's just one of the girls...wait, no he's not... he dates girls... anyway... hope you get to meet him one day! esp. if you need to purchase some big giant signs for your international company.

bosley - what would the angels be with out bos? he had their back. he was constant. he only spoke up when he needed too... so, for the sake of See You At Coffee, we'll call this guy Bosley. If you ever have coffee with us, you will undoubtedly meet him... and learn from him.

track star... she's breaking all kinds of school records, state records... etc. ... must be the caffeine

the lovebirds... so nice to us all the time... they have dates in the morning at our fave coffee hangout, before he goes to work and she goes to hang with her new grands!


FRIENDS OF SYAC:
we will introduce these people to you occasionally... they are new contacts that we make during any given day, but not necessarily in the inner sanctum... yet... all it takes is a little time, a few emails... we're friendly people.

More committee members coming soon. I wanted to share with you some of the things we are going to be doing on a daily basis, though.

See, we like to hang out every morning so we can help each other out, hook each other up. Whether it's with a decent date, or a killer business idea. The networking never stops... but it's totally low key and fun. If one of us has an experience that is good between us and a vendor of any kind... we will totally pimp them out! The Glue loves this one lady at neiman's in the children's department, so she always sends people to her.

today, the dreamer, was realizing how crucial it is to protect herself and her kids during her divorce. names that could help were changing hands. so, that lawyers reach just expanded by 5 people and whoever they call. And it'll be even more when we get the contact info. and put it in the blog with a link.

we are very careful about who we send people to, and we network with people we like. If you (or your business) are interested in being considered for the committee resource page, please let us know.

The Beauty Inside…she’s strong… independent… a media maven… a sacrificial parent… a loyal friend… wise… kind… and freaking unbelievably gorgeous, lucky you if you ever get to meet her. An expansive network that runs the spectrum, but she keeps it under wraps… that’s the best part.

The Dreamer… she keeps hoping for the best, expecting people to be their best selves, sadly, many times they aren’t… but it never stops her from hoping. This inexhaustible capacity to believe in people, even if they don’t deserve it, reflects a compassionate heart that bleeds love for you… and you… and you…
She sells houses that other people couldn’t sell…to people who are dying to be home owners.

So, I told you I would introduce the committee. I'm so excited because I can't wait for you to meet these amazing people ... and see how they can affect your life, by virtue of sharing their own with you, here. It's what we are about, helping each other, affecting lives, sharing... and laughing our butts off in the meantime.

So... I'm "the brain for hire". It's nice to meet you. They call me that because I write, I write scripts, a magazine , for other magazines, a book . I brainstorm everything I get a glimpse at, to a point of ridiculous. That's right, I'm "one of those".... they call me a "creative"... that's not a bad thing, right? I mean, sometimes people say it with disdain, but for the most part, it helps us all out, because my mind runs away with itself, and I put it to use building up friendships, networks and businesses. Plus, there's the writing. Again with the writing. The writing is what allows you to have a window into our world, where decisions are made my committee, and wii's are found at Christmastime and more.


I also want you to meet... THE GLUE... She binds us all together. We came to the committee through the friendships we have had with her. With a pessimism that is laced with happy, she views the glass half empty, but thinks about how fun the first half was. She can organize the heck out of anything... she can move some serious furniture... she loves to drive nice cars... she can't quit lusting after the white range rover we keep seeing out the window when we are "at coffee." she enjoys juicy sweatsuits, prada purses and has an extensive collection of tennis shoes. she is your best defender. mama bear doesn't come closet to describing the loyalty of this uberfriend... you should BE so lucky to know her.

Dating By Committee

In the coming days, you will be introduced to "THE COMMITTEE"... those of us who will see you at coffee!

In our group, we have a few that have made some questionable choices ... actually, all of us have made questionable choices at different times. So, we have decided from this point forward that certain people ... that you will meet soon... are only allowed to "date by committee"... it seems obvious, but this means that they are absolutely not premitted to go out with anyone consistently without getting the thumbs up from us... the committee.

I will be introducing us to you individually, but just to give you a taste... you'll meet
The Brain for Hire-that's me, a "creative" that can't shut her brain down for two seconds so thank goodness for caramel machiatto;
The GLUE- she's the best, the one that connects everyone else;
The Suit-that's the hot chick with some serious business mojo;
The Blonde-enough said, but she also sells houses like they're going out of style;
The Beauty Inside - who happens to also be a freaking bombshell on the outside too;
The Artist - painting uptown red... and blue... and green...etc. ;
The JavaMama- even if it's not your birthday... she'll bring you a one-of-a-kind morning delight;
and Mr. Nice Guy-the lone stranger that we brought into our fold because he's nice and he's there all the time.

We recognize the power of the networking we do... the business we conduct... the stuff we laugh at... the joy we have in our friendship. well, this is our gift back, we want to share it all with you.
